Tail-Wagging Art: Dog Portraits for Hubbard221's Luxe Dog Park
In 2022, Hubbard221 Apartments in Chicago renovated their dog park to offer their four-legged residents an even better experience. As part of this upgrade, I was commissioned to photograph the dogs living in the apartment complex. The photo shoot was exclusively focused on capturing the individuality of each dog in a portrait that would hang in the park. The goal was to provide a personal touch to the park, while also showcasing the personality of the dogs and their importance to the residents.
It was an incredible experience capturing these furry friends. Each dog had a unique personality and style that needed to be highlighted in its portrait. The challenge was to capture the dog's personality without any human interaction in the portraits. It was a thrilling challenge as I had to focus solely on the dog's expressions and movements.
The portraits turned out to be amazing, thanks in no small part to Tara Hoerth's fantastic dog-wrangling ability, and each one captured the unique personality of a dog. The photos added a personal touch to the park and highlighted the beauty and uniqueness of each dog living in the apartment complex. The dogs were the focus of the portraits, and it made the space even more special for the residents who visit the park.
Photographing the dogs of Hubbard 221 Apartments for the newly renovated dog park was a great opportunity. I was able to capture the unique personalities of each dog in a beautiful and artistic way.
